My kids are huge fans of bacon, so I’m always on the lookout for recipes that include it. I love experimenting with recipes that combine all of their favorite foods, making it more likely for them to eat all of their food.
That’s why I was so excited to try making bacon cheeseburger quesadillas. This recipe includes all of the foods my kids love to eat. Bacon, because who doesn’t love bacon?
Cheeseburgers are probably at the top of the list of foods that kids like. What makes this recipe even better is that both of their favorite foods are wrapped up and easy to eat in a quesadilla. What’s not to love?

Can I make these quesadillas with corn tortillas?
Absolutely! We had flour tortillas on hand, but you can totally make these with corn tortillas too.
Do these quesadillas really taste like a bacon cheeseburger?
YES! And they are so good! I was surprised when I took my first bite. I thought…this recipe is going to be a total flop and not taste like a bacon cheeseburger…I was WRONG!
Can I make these ahead of time?
I wouldn’t recommend it. If you are hosting a party or want to get ahead of the game, I would suggest preparing the meat mixture, but making the actual quesadillas more than maybe 30 minutes ahead of time would make them soggy for your guests or family.
What should I serve with bacon cheeseburger quesadillas?
These quesadillas are amazing by themselves with a side of salsa to dip them in and they make the perfect appetizer for parties and family gatherings. But if you want to add a side, I would suggest pairing them with a side of Mexican rice and charro beans and of course guacamole too! These bacon cheeseburger quesadillas are so easy to make and your kids will love them! They are perfect for any meal, as well as making a great snack.
