Homemade Furniture Polish
Homemade Furniture Polish
Our family has been taking small steps to make our imprint on the environment less for the past few years. While we are not completely environmentally savvy, we are still progressing forward. One of my favorite homemade cleaners and probably one of the easiest to make is homemade furniture polish. Furniture polish can be so expensive when you purchase the name brand product. Even heading to the dollar stores could be a hit or miss situation. So why buy furniture polish that you can make at home since you already have the ingredients right in your cupboards!
What you need:
- 1 spray bottle
- 1/4 cup of vinegar
- A few drops of olive oil
How to put it all together:
Pour vinegar and a few drops of olive oil into your spray bottle. Shake to mix contents and start polishing your furniture to shine like the day you bought it!
Do you have any homemade cleaner recipes you would like to share? I would love to feature them on Moms Confession. If you would like to share, leave a comment or email me at momsconfession @ gmail.com (take spaces out) and I will add your recipe in a future post. Thanks!
Can I use this furniture cleaner on wood?
I use it on all of my wood shelves , tables and such and it does the job for me. I’ve never used it on wood floors though…not sure if it works on that. Thanks for stopping by Anita!
