Simply Delicious and Easy Meatloaf Recipe
Looking for a delicious and easy meatloaf recipe? Look no further! This is the best meatloaf recipe you will try that has been passed down from my mom! You won’t regret it!
When my husband and I first got married, he was not a fan of veggies especially onions and bell peppers. So one afternoon while he was at work, I was putting my “still in training” cooking skills to work in the kitchen to make my Momma’s Meatloaf recipe.
I was on a roll!
Following the recipe from the recipe book my mom made for me to a “T”. Everything was going good…and then he walked in the door.
I had just finished chopping the onions and bell pepper for my recipe and I knew I had been caught in the act of secretly making him eat veggies! He immediately asked what was on the cutting board. I didn’t want to tell him so I blurted out “garlic” and “jalapeno”…
He went with my little antics as I finished making out meatloaf, but I knew he knew the truth all the way through dinner that night. After dinner, I couldn’t hold my little lie from him anymore so I spilled the beans….only to have him give me a nod and tell me he kinda figured it out already.
Dang it…I told y’all he caught me! At least I tried! :)
He loved Momma’s Meatloaf recipe and I couldn’t have been happier that I didn’t burn it! Gotta love those early days of learning how to cook! Right? :)
