Ingredients
Breakfast Sausage
any brand
12-14
larger jalapenos
One package of cream cheese
One package of bacon
any brand
toothpicks
bowl with water
Instructions
Ground up and cook breakfast sausage in a medium pan until it is fully cooked.
While the sausage is cooking, cut the jalapenos down the center (lengthwise).
Use a spoon to take the seeds out & place seedless pepper halves in water (helps to reduce heat)*.
After sausage is fully cooked, place entire package of cream cheese in the pan with the sausage.
Mix together well.
Preheat the oven and cut the bacon in half.
Spoon a tablespoon of sausage mixture into each jalapeno.
Wrap each pepper with the bacon and pierce with a toothpick through top & place on cookie sheet.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
Notes
*When you put the jalapenos in water during the process of making these, the spice from the jalapeno is somehow reduced making them not as spicy.
