To keep this as neat and simple as possible, you’ll need one large bowl and two small bowls.
In the large one put the popcorn and set aside.
In the small bowl sift nutmeg and baking soda, so you’ll get a smooth mixture.
In another small bowl add almond extract, vanilla extract, rum extract, and butter extract.
Cook sugar, water, molasses, salt, and the butter in a medium sized saucepan and stir occasionally.
Cook this mixture over medium heat, and wait until the temperature is 30F. Then stir in the extracts (those you mixed in the first step) and after that add the nutmeg and baking soda mixture. Just pay attention to stir these combinations very carefully.
Now, it’s time to make things sweeter. Pour the caramel over the popcorn and then toss the popcorn around so the caramel can add that wonderful sweetness to the popcorn.
Now you’ll need a large baking sheet, so you can spread the popcorn. After the popcorn is cooled, break it apart.
